Equipment

  • one-quart mason jar
  • whisk
  • mixing bowl
  • funnel

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon of crushed red pepper

1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon (9 tablespoons) each

  • Dried basil
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Dried thyme
  • Onion powder

1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon (4 1/2 tablespoons) each

  • Dried parsley
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried rosemary
  • Minced Onion

Instructions

  • First, clean and thoroughly dry a one quart mason jar.
  • Combine all of the spices in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour the thoroughly mixed spices into the mason jar. A funnel will make this much easier!
  • Seal the jar with a mason jar compatible lid or a ring and lid. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Use this Italian dressing mix as a marinade, seasoning or as Italian Dressing. In order to make ¾ cup of Italian Dressing, mix ¼ cup of vinegar with ½ cup of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of this mix.
