Gluten Free Meatball Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼-½ cup grated onion one medium onion

Method
 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together thoroughly using your hands or a mixer.
  2. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. Sauté a small portion of the meat mixture until cooked through (165 degrees) to make sure you are happy with the seasoning. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Roll or portion out the meat into 1-ounce portions.
  4. Next, cook them one of two ways.
  5. Sear the meatballs in batches in a saute pan, on medium heat for 8-10minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165 degrees.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees in a preheated oven for 17-20, until the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165 degrees. To do this, line a baking sheet with tin foil and place the meatballs evenly spaced apart.
  7. You can freeze them at this point or use these meatballs in your favorite meatball meals!
